Getting to your information has never been so easy!
There is no need to settle for static reports (i.e. hard coded custom reports or those generated using report writer tools). Many people believe that the report they are used to receiving each week or month is all they need or can afford. The alternative to static reporting comes under the heading of “Business Intelligence” (BI). There is a common misconception that BI costs a lot, is too complicated and only for top management of big companies. EBA is one BI solution that breaks the price barrier; being affordable, accessible for all employees and easy to deploy. Think of BI as flexible reporting and analysis. This is Exact Business Analytics.
BI is becoming pervasive. Many people are using it but not giving it this title. For example, when a person is researching a purchase via the web, he or she is using BI when they sort by price or features. This simple example shows how flexible reporting has come to replace the static report. The hard copy performance charts that are often displayed in sales offices or manufacturing conference rooms are being replaced by more flexible “dashboards”, another part of BI. Dashboards can be automated and distributed in soft copy with drill downs into the underlying detailed data. The value of BI is tremendous and is becoming essential. One EBA BI “View” can replace dozens if not hundreds of hard copy reports.
EBA is designed to put the power of answers in the hands of business users at all levels. The system is readily extendable and scalable for multi-site, multi-currency and multi-country operations and offers the functionality to quickly and easily build analytics views and reports by dynamically combining and comparing data from multiple sources. Ad-hoc analyses, personalized analytic views, full online analytical processing (OLAP), graphing, reporting and dashboard capabilities, can be automatically distributed to users on a pre-defined schedule, or accessed via the web, offering users ROI in a matter of days.
